From the first time I heard your voice
and saw your smiling face
I was instantly drawn to you
and longed for your embrace.

I never believed in love at first sight,
until you came along.
I never believed I could love again
because the wall I built seemed so strong.

You came along and the wall crumbled
as if it never existed.
I admitt I was scared
to let you in my life.

I didn't want to get hurt again,
I didn't want to care.
I couldn't say no to you,
I couldn't say back away.

Now my love for you grew stronger
with every passing day.
I knew in the beginning
it will have to come to an end.

You are now leaving on a journey
away from where I am.
You soon will forget about me
and all the tears I shed.

I want to leave you with a thought
I hope will not fade.
I fell in love with you the first time we met,
and everything we been through I will never regret.

My heart will continue to love you
even if you aren't standing by my side.
I'll never forget our talks, our laughs,
as well as our tears because they are all about you.
